Professor Maralyn Druce is an expert endocrinologist with special interests including polycystic ovarian syndrome, thyroid problems, adrenal and pituitary disorders, womens’ health, endocrine cancers and the impact of cancer treatments on the endocrine system.

She is passionate about education for both doctors and patients. She holds national awards for teaching and has led on public and patient initiatives. She is committed to making sure that patients who consult her gain a good understanding about their condition and are able to weigh up all of the information available to help choose the best way to manage it. Patient feedback consistently mentions her empathetic and holistic approach.

She has published her clinical research in high-impact journals and has held a number of national and international leadership positions in endocrinology and editorial roles in endocrine publications.
